India's defense sector is poised for significant growth, driven by a series of strategic initiatives aimed at boosting indigenous manufacturing and increasing defense exports. Under the leadership of Defense Minister Rajat Singh, the country has set an ambitious target to generate military exports worth ₹50,000 crores annually. This comes on the heels of a remarkable 32.5% growth in defense exports last fiscal year, which crossed the ₹21,000 crore mark for the first time.
